I was really surprised, after a week of having only low acid java I noticed some advances with my painful reflux. I was not getting heartburn nearly as often, and when I did, it was not as severe. I realized that the doctor was right and dome of my trouble was due to my own habits. I speculate that changing your habits is worth it.
If you suffer from heartburn or other stomach problems and are an avid coffee lover as I am, I really advise trying low acid coffee. Have it at least one week and check if you find a difference. If you do then you will make a good decision.
