A good BBQ with chips, potato salad, beers,and dessert will blow way past that number in one meal! Thus, the diet has already proven a failure.

It is Wiser to Tally Calories Eaten Over the Entire Week

Truth be told, I am not a proponent of calorie counting. But I do give credence to falling within a range of calories. So if for instance that same 180 pound man had a 4,000 calorie day, he would ideally have a low cal day leading up to it and 2 lower calorie days after this BBQ. So in this example he overshot the mark by 2,200. In this fat loss plan, he would just have to have a couple of days where he only has 1000 calories.

A Few Frequent Objections to This Plan

Some will wonder if their metabolism will decrease if every couple of hours they aren’t eating something. In recent years, however, this hypothesis has been shown to be untrue. Others believe that they will lose muscle if they don’t eat enough protein day-to-day. This worry has been put to rest also. Actually, recent research placed its subjects on a diet of 800 calories per day and required them to engage in resistance exercise three times each week. These people did not lose any significant amount of muscle. Things like the starvation effect and muscle wasting happen over long periods of time, so no need to worry about a few low calorie days thrown into the mix.

The Best Fat Loss Plan for Those Who Want To Enjoy Their Social Life

Indeed, it is hard to think of any other diet plan that permits fat loss and an active social life simultaneously. All other lifestyles include leaving out favorite foods. A couple of below average calorie days with this fat loss plan is a small price for having the body you want and not having to cut out parties and celebrations.
